THE BACKSTORY – HOW WE GOT THESE ARTIFACTS:
A 2600 MILE JOURNEY BY SEA in 1998: These rare and authentic pieces of the original HMS Bounty were recovered by my father (Bryan Moon – an artist who made a painting of the HMS Bounty). He personally traveled to Pitcairn Island (the wreck site of the HMS Bounty) in 1998 and then lived with the descendants of the mutineers on the tiny island for several weeks. My dad chartered a sailboat and sailed to Pitcairn Island in the South Pacific Ocean to research the painting he was going to paint. While there he hired one of the locals to dive on the wreck and see if there was anything left of the historical ship which had been sunk just off Pitcairn Island centuries ago.

The 35-pound piece of iron ballast from the 200+ year old remains of the HMS Bounty was recovered undersea by a local diver who knew where the wreck was. The piece of iron ballast returned to America with my dad who then had it carefully cut into sections for inclusion with a number of limited edition prints he planned to make. He only made a few prints before his death and he left me the remaining few Bounty artifacts along with Certificates of Authenticity in his will after he passed. Each piece was carefully stamped: “H.M.S. Bounty” to denote its authenticity.

WELL UNDER 100 ARTIFACTS REMAINING: These few pieces are what I am selling here at this site and when they are gone – there will never be any more. As the few remaining pieces are sold I will increase the price as my very limited supply drops. There were less than a hundred of these artifacts ever made so this is truly a rare opportunity. The last pieces remaining will be sold for thousands of dollars until they are all gone.
